Vision and mission

Experimenticum builds innovation capital in communities.

Experimenticum turns experimentation into a shared habit in education and civic ecosystem, so schools and communities can meet complexity with competence instead of dependency. We empower with the 21st century skills, intrinsic motivation and inspire for a love for life-long learning.

We build a visible “playground for curiosity” and a curated lab for innovation, participation, and resilience through Challenge Labs, Citizen Solution Sprints, and professional learning that makes test cycles repeatable.

Community members of all ages grow agency and scientific thinking, schools shift practice through inquiry facilitation, and municipalities move from consultation to pilots that can be evaluated and improved.

We act as a lighthouse for a new humane learning paradigm, real-world connection and inspire the education system and help them transform.

Built upon a unique learning experience design and the latest scientific advancements in education, Exploratorium Lab builds capacity to thrive in the unknown future and to co-create positive societal impact.

Investing in innovation capital is one of the highest-leverage uses of philanthropy because it upgrades how a community solves all future challenges, not just the one in front of it.

Never stop experimenting.
